ROSA ELIA PACHECO
EDINBURG - Rosa Elia Pacheco, 58, lost her battle with COVID-19 Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center.
Rosa, a devoted teacher, leaves behind her San Carlos Elementary School family and a 35-year teaching career, where she made life-long friends and taught students who enriched her life and brought her happiness and pride.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Benedict; and her parents, Ruperto and Emma Pacheco.
Rosa is survived by her four siblings, Eduardo (Nelly) Pacheco of Alamo, Carmen Pacheco, Angelica (Baldemar Munguia) Pacheco, both of Edinburg, and Ernesto (Marisela) Pacheco of Pharr.
A Memorial service will take place Via Zoom at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021, Meeting ID # 817 0278 7756, Password: 106834.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
