LEONOR PADRON
SAN JUAN - Leonor Padron, 100, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Cadereyta, N.L., Mexico, Mrs. Padron had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Padron; a son, Roman Padron; a daughter, Trinidad Guajardo; her parents, Merced and Jesusa Reyna; three brothers; and a sister.
Mrs. Padron is survived by a son, Erineo (Diane) Padron of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; five grandsons that she raised, Eliseo (Mireya) Guajardo, Jr. of Pharr, Alberto (Mirta) Guajardo of Edinburg, Fernando (Glenda) Guajardo, Ernesto (Rosa) Guajardo and Rene (Mirna) Guajardo, all of San Juan; three grandsons, Patrick, Perry and Keith Padron of Mt. Washington, Kentucky; three granddaughters, Roxie Padron and Doreen Smith, both of Austin, Texas, Juanita Apodacas of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 pm rosary, today, March 26, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
