ISABEL PALACIOS ESPARZA
PHARR – Isabel Palacios Esparza, 99, died Sunday, September 24, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Isabel had lived in Pharr most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Esparza; a son, Ernesto Esparza; a daughter, Maria Guadalupe Lopez; her parents, Gregorio and Guadalupe Palacios; and six siblings, Anastacio Palacios, Matilde Palacios, Pedro Palacios, Jose Esteban Palacios, Esteban Jose Palacios and Moncerrato “Monce” Palacios.
Isabel is survived by three children, Juan C. (Elvira) Esparza of San Antonio, Silvia Ordaz of Pharr, Dr. Antonio Esparza of McAllen; a daughter-in-law, Ernestina C. Esparza of Pharr; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Amara Hospice for the loving care given to our beloved mother.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
