JOSE LUIS "JOE" PALACIOS
SAN JUAN - Jose Luis "Joe" Palacios, 64, died Saturday, October 27, 2018, in Alamo.
Formerly of Pharr, he lived in San Juan for 36 years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. Joe was a veteran of the United States Navy and owner of Las Casitas Metal Buildings.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria H. Palacios.
Mr. Palacios is survived by his wife of 40 years, Maria G. Palacios of San Juan; three children, Joey (Andy Pinon) Palacios of Austin, Laura (Omar Espinoza) Palacios of San Juan, Julian (Katheryn) Palacios of Edinburg; three grandchildren, Kadence Jase Garcia, Lailah Star Palacios, and Odin Azriel Espinoza; his father, Santiago Palacios of San Juan; and five siblings, Rolando Palacios of Edinburg, Irma Trevino, Blanca Palacios, both of San Juan, Rose Salazar of San Benito, and Arnold Palacios of McAllen.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Entombment of cremated remains will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 7473 of Elsa.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
