JULIA PALOMIN
McALLEN – Julia Palomin, 88, died Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mrs. Palomin was born in San Benito, Texas and had lived in McAllen all of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Palomin; and two sons, Andres Palomin Sr. and Mario Palomin.
Mrs. Palomin is survived by a son, Santiago (Yolanda) Palomin, of Pharr; two daughters, Mary (Alfredo) Lopez, of Pharr, Amparo (Juan M.) Ruiz, of McAllen; two daughters-in-law, Mary Palomin, Aurelia Sauceda, both of McAllen; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Teofilo (Ruth) Cervantes, of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 24, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
The family would like to thank the staff at Arbor View Nursing Home in Edinburg and the staff of Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg for the care shown for Mrs. Palomin.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
