Pilar Palomo

PILAR PALOMO ALAMO- Pilar Palomo, 91, died Sunday, February 23, 2014, at Comfort House in McAllen. Born in in Kyle, TX, he had lived in Alamo all of his life, and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by a son, Francisco “Pico” Palomo. Mr. Palomo is survived by his wife of 69 years, Natalia G. Palomo, of Alamo; two sons, Juan “JP” (Maria Esther) Palomo, of San Juan, Roel (Sylvia) Palomo, of Alamo; a daughter-in-law, Maricela Palomo, of Alamo; a grandson who he raised, Hector (Maribel) Palomo, of San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren, Juan Palomo, Jr., Isla Iris Palomo, Cesar Palomo, Monica Palomo, and Roel Palomo, Jr.; and six great-grandchildren. A rosary will be held today, February 24, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
