Pedro Garcia

Pedro Garcia, 80, died Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at San Juan Nursing Home.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe B. Garcia; his parents, Jose H. and Maria De La Luz Garcia; and six siblings, Juan Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Luis Garcia, Mencho Garcia, Adelita Garcia and Irma Garcia.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his three children, Esmeralda Mancias, Lisa Gamez, and Pedro Garcia, Jr., all of San Juan; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alfredo Garcia of Edinburg, Jose Garcia of Harlingen, Martin Garcia of Edinburg; four sisters, Beatrice De Leon of Indiana, Yolanda Ollervidez of Edinburg, Maria Ybarra of Brownsville, and Guadalupe Andaverde of Baytown.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
