Julia Pena

EDINBURG – Julia Pena, 96, went home to our Lord Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in La Gloria, Julia had lived in Edinburg most of her life.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel P. Pena, Gustavo Pena; and a sister, Victoria Pena.
Julia is survived by her daughter, Maria M. (Arnoldo) Perez of Edinburg; two grandsons, Daniel (Rosey) Gonzalez of Edinburg, Alberto (Nydia) Gonzalez of San Antonio; two granddaughters, Erica Perez of McAllen, Karinna (Jeremy) Cantu of Pflugerville, Texas; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Paulita Avila of Donna.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
