MIGUEL A. PENA MCALLEN – Miguel A. Pena, 58, died, Wednesday February 11, 2015, at Rio Grande Regional Medical Center in McAllen. Miguel was a loving husband, proud father, a good brother, and a best friend. His sense of humor and outlook on life will be missed by all of his family and many friends. With his passing a little sunshine will have gone from our lives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Salomon and Trinidad Pena; and one sister, Ramona Cantu. Mr. Pena is survived by his wife, Anadelia C. Pena; a daughter, Leana Pena; a son, Isaac Pena all of McAllen; six siblings, Ernesto (+Olga) Pena, Oscar Mario (Graciela) Pena both of Oakdale, CA, Bertha (Santos) Martinez of Hollister, CA, Jose Luis (Socorro) Pena of Brownsville, Juan M. (Diana) Pena of McAllen, and Sylvia Pena of Pharr; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, February 13, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
