SAN JUANA ZUNIGA PEQUENO
SAN JUAN - San Juana Zuniga Pequeno, 90, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Solara Hospital in McAllen.
Born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Mrs. Pequeno had lived in San Juan most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Felicitas Zuniga; and two brothers.
Mrs. Pequeno is survived by her husband, Felix Pequeno; a son, Raul Pequeno; a daughter, Maria Pequeno, all of San Juan; ten grandchildren, Raul (Diana) Pequeno, Jr., Rosalinda Pequeno, Criselda Garcia, all of San Juan, Rene (Julissa) Garcia of Pharr, Ricardo Pequeno of Lorenzo, Texas, Ricardo H. Pequeno, Reynaldo (Melody) Pequeno, Rudy Pequeno, all of McAllen, Roberto (Esmeralda) Garcia of Alamo and Rebecca Pequeno of Dallas, Texas; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a brother, Lorenzo Zuniga of California.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, today, October 17, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am, Monday, October 18, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
