Andrew Peralez

ANDREW PERALEZ PHARR – Andrew Peralez, 17, died Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Born in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, he had lived in Pharr most of his life. Andrew was a student at P-SJ-A North High School where he played baseball and was a member of the Electronics Program. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr and was actively involved in the youth group. Andrew was a loving and giving young man; he will be saving the lives of others by the gift of organ donation. Andrew is survived by his parents, Francisco and Yolanda Peralez; a sister, Victoria “Tori” Ashley (Ryan Lee Reyna) Peralez, paternal grandparents, Victoriano Jr. and Tomasita “Eva” Peralez, all of Pharr; maternal grandparents, Fermin and Margarita Estrada, of McAllen; four aunts, Sandra Kendrick Estrada, Cristela Estrada, Rebecca (Alex Morin) Estrada, all of McAllen, Veronica (Charlie) Puente Peralez, of Hampshire, Illinois; three uncles, Jose Luis Peralez, of Carpentersville, Illinois, Ruben Peralez, of Elgin, Illinois, Esteban (Rachel) Peralez, of Roselle, Illinois; nine cousins, Crystal Lynce Peralez, Christopher Aguilar, Aaron Gonzalez, Amanda Aguilar, Chyon Kendrick, Mireya Puente, Christian Puente, Ruben Peralez Jr., Angela Mercedes Peralez and Mia Morin; his Godparents, Jose and Perla Castellano; and Godbrother, Joseph Castellano. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
