EDINBURG – Gilberto Peralez, 90, died Friday, June 10, 2016, at his residence in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, Mr. Peralez had lived there all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Natividad Peralez.
Mr. Peralez is survived by 13 children, Elodia (Jorge) Espinoza, Aurora (+Ramiro) Mora, both of Edinburg, Oralia (Pablo) Gonzalez of Alamo, Rene (Maria) Peralez of Tomball, TX, Norma (Juan) Betancourt, Leonor (Raul) Cruz, Femia (Ramiro) Rodriguez, all of Edinburg, Teresa (Joe) Hernandez of San Juan, Gloria Peralez (Joe Brown) of North Carolina, Raul (Loyle) Peralez of Tomball, TX, Olga (Martin) Torres of Edinburg, Yolanda (Leroy) Coronado of Georgia, Omar Peralez of Edinburg; numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren; and a sister, Estefana Peralez of California.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, June 13, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
