CONSUELO M. PEREZ
ALAMO – Consuelo M. Perez, 91, went home to our Lord Friday, May 21, 2021, at her residence in McAllen.
Born in Guardado de Abajo, Tamaulipas, MX, Mrs. Perez had lived in Alamo since 1955 and was a parishioner at Resurrection Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raul Perez; her parents, Luis Muniz and Trinidad Elizondo; two brothers, Javier and Mario Elizondo Muniz; and a sister, Angelica Muniz Barrera.
Mrs. Perez is survived by her loved ones, Jose Iram (Leticia) Perez of Lake Fork, TX, Raul (Carolina) Perez Jr. of Cypress, TX, Edgardo Luis (Julia) Perez of Conroe, TX, Cynthia (Manuel) Perez-Ramon, Laura Olvera, both of McAllen; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Edilia Muniz-Garcia of Houston, and Francisca Muniz of Rio Grande City.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, May 24, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Allstate Hospice, Dr. Manuel Mercado, Dr. Vyannhe Vela-Ramirez, PA-C, and Ambulance Transportation Services (ATS) for the great care given to our loved one.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
