EDINBURG – Marcela Perez, 79, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017, at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, Marcela had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luz and Guadalupe Perez.
Marcela is survived by five children, Santiago (Elizabeth) Perez of Edinburg, Luz (Cindy) Perez of San Antonio, TX, Isabel (Jesus) Pañola of McAllen, Leo (Irene) Venegas, Ralph Perez, both of Edinburg; five grandchildren, Monica C. Perez, Cynthia M. Perez, Jesus Pañola, III, Christian Pañola and Leo Venegas, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, July 21, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg, Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg
