Mark E. Perez

MCALLEN – Mark G. Perez, 43, passed away August 6, 2017 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Juanita & Heberto Guerra, and Valentin Rivera.
Mark is survived by his parents, Robert Sr. and Aurora Rivera of McAllen; one sister, Melissa E. (Joe) Garcia of Lake Dallas; one brother, Robert (Cynthia) Rivera Jr. of McAllen; paternal grandmother, Cleotilde Rivera; four nieces, Ashly Marie Garcia, Natalie Rivera both of McAllen, Brianna Rivera, Alexis Rivera both of Brownsville; five nephews, Orlando Garcia, Israel Garcia both of Lake Dallas, Mark Santiago Rivera of McAllen, Joey Garcia, Michael Garcia both of Brownsville; numerous aunts and uncles.
Thank you to the San Juan Nursing Home Staff for all of your love and compassion that you showed Mark throughout the years. Our sincerest gratitude and love, from Robert & Aurora Rivera and family.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. memorial service, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
