Richard S. Perez, 79, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at his residence in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his former spouse, Maria Celia Perez; daughter, Sandra Perez; grandson, Robert Omar Perez; parents, Fidel Cantu Perez Jr. and Maime Salazar Perez.
Mr. Perez is survived by his spouse, Antonia Perez; seven children, Ricardo (Felicitas) Perez Jr., Rolando (Laura Gonzalez) Perez, Diana Perez, Luis (Lluisa) Perez, Joanne (David) Pena, Daniel (Katherine) Perez, Robert Perez; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four siblings, Antonia Mount, Ramiro Perez, Fidel Perez III, Cindy Perez Schlatre; two step-children, Flor (Angel) Covarrubias and Jaime Arredondo.
Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
