EDINBURG – Rosendo Perez, 58, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
He is preceded in death by his mother Sandra Olga Perez.
Mr. Perez is survived by his wife, Melissa D. Perez; seven children, Tanya L. (Steve) Cavazos, Rosendo (Jasmine) Perez Jr., Gabriela S. (Jeffrey) Richardson, Erica (Ivan) Ochoa, Valerie (Alex) Favata, Angelica (Abraham Acevedo) Villanueva, and Jozie Villanueva; ten grandchildren, Landon Ty Cavazos, Emery Joe Cavazos, Romeo S. Perez, Billy Rose Richardson, Vadmir Villanueva, Luna Scarlet Gonzalez, Lyla Ochoa, Gio Ochoa, Eric Ochoa, Joshua Anthony Favata; father, Jose Ovidio Perez; nine siblings, Ovidio Perez, Felipe Perez, Jaime Perez, Sandra Ruiz, Francisco Perez, Maria Isabel Carranza, Veronica Moreno, Maria Teresa Lopez, Manuel Angel Perez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, May 16, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
