SYLVIA ANN PEREZ SAN JUAN - Sylvia Ann Perez, 49, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 19, 2015, at Amara Hospice Inpatient Facility in Edinburg. Born in Ventura, California, she had lived in San Juan most of her life and was a member of Destiny Through Christ Church in Pharr. She is preceded in death by a brother, Jaime Perez. Sylvia is survived by three children, Vanessa Rios of Alamo, Robert Rios Jr., Stephanie Rios, both of Pharr; her parents, Antonio and Concepcion Perez of San Juan; three sisters, Ofelia (Leo) Venegas, Sandra (Ernesto) Tellez, both of Edinburg, Melissa (Eddie) Ortega of San Juan; and two brothers, Joe (Linda) Perez and Gilbert Perez, both of McAllen. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015, Destiny Through Christ Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral service are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
