Federico Prado

Federico "Fred" Prado, 86, entered eternal rest Saturday, May 28, 2022, at his residence in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Celia Prado; a daughter, Dalia Nora Prado; his parents, Froilan Prado and Paula Guzman Prado; five siblings, Aurelio Prado of Salinas, CA, Santos Balli of Soledad, CA, Pablo Prado, Victor Prado, Abelino Prado, all of Edinburg.
Mr. Prado is survived by three children, Aida (Mario) Garcia, Elma (Santana) Carrera, Federico "Freddy" Prado Jr., all of Edinburg; a grandson, Federico "Trey" Prado III; a brother, Encarnacion "Chon" Prado; and a sister, Guadalupe "Lupita" Cruz, both of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
