PORFIRIA "PORE" PRADO
EDINBURG - Porfiria "Pore" Prado, 77, died Thursday, January 12, 2012, at her residence in Edinburg.
Born in Edinburg, Mrs. Prado, along with her husband, had lived in Edinburg all of her life. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg.
She is preceded in death by three brothers, Ramiro, Mauro and Marcos Molina; two sisters, Isaura Alaniz and Dionisia Molina.
Mrs. Prado is survived by her husband of 53 years, Victor Prado Sr.; six children, Victor (Elia) Prado Jr., Rolando (Ene) Prado, Maxine (Fernando) De La Garza, Eddie Prado, Odette Prado, Marlon Prado, all of Edinburg; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Arnold Molina Sr., of Dallas, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 12, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
