LIBRADA “BUDZ” PRUDENCIO
EVANSTON, IL — Librada “Budz” Prudencio, 69, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, at her residence in Skokie.
Born in Manila, Philippines, she was formerly of Gary, IN and had lived in Evanston, IL for 35 years. Librada graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She was a Microbiology Supervisor at St. Ann’s Hospital and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Chicago under Dr. Reddy. Librada will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Crispin and Modesta Prudencio.
Mss. Prudencio is survived by two siblings, Napoleon (Marilou) Prudencio, Lulu (Richard) Garrett, both of Mission; cousins, Emma Bueno Lagao of Victorville, Emma (Jonathan) David of Cerritos, CA, Nestor Roldan of Riverside, CA, Ella Enriquez of Los Angeles, CA, Maria Macalaman of San Francisco, CA, Ariel Edith Benitez, Espiritu cousins, Elmer, Emmanuel, Edgardo, Edna, and Eduardo, all of Universal City, San Antonio.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan, TX. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Mission, TX. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen, TX.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
