MARTHA ELLEN PUENTE
EDINBURG – Martha Ellen Puente, 75, died Saturday, August 20, 2016, at her residence in Edinburg. She was born in Edinburg and had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lupe Puente; and a son, Thomas Puente.
Martha is survived by seven children, Alma (Rick) Hernandez, Maria G. (Adan) Davila, Steve (Maggie) Puente, Charles (Cindy) Puente, Rebecca (Roy) Lopez, Belinda (Arturo) Avila, Carmen (Eddie) Montes; 20 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; five great-great-great-grandchildren; her mother, Bobby Cortez; and four siblings, David Paradise, Arthur Paradise, Mary Meller and Mary Lou Clark.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, August 22, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
