JOSE A. QUESADA
DONNA – Jose A. Quesada, 88, died Friday, December 4, 2015, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
Born in Brownsville, Mr. Quesada lived in Weslaco and was a current resident of Donna. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Quesada was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Virginia Quesada; and nine siblings.
Mr. Quesada is survived by his wife, Emma Quesada; six children, Jose (Rosa) Quesada, Jr., Aldo (Elva) Quesada, David Quesada, Dalia Quesada, all of Donna, Virginia Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Alicia (Duane) Canales of Dallas; 15 grandchildren ; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, December 7, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
