HERIBERTA “BERTA” G. QUINTANILLA
SAN JUAN – Heriberto “Berta” G. Quintanilla, 94, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at San Juan Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose T. Quintanilla; a daughter, Imelda Serda; a son, Jose Roel Quintanilla; and six siblings, Marcos Gomez, Baldomero Gomez, Homero Gomez, Josefa Suarez, Connie Arcaute, and Lucio Gomez Jr.
Mrs. Quintanilla is survived by her son, Ramiro (Raquel) Quintanilla; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Javier Serda of Pharr; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Quintanilla of Mission; her siblings, Ciro Gomez of Edinburg, Emma Luna of San Juan, Oralia Martinez of Monterrey, Ella Gonzalez, and Delia Alaniz both of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
The family would like to thank the staff of San Juan Nursing Home for the care given to Berta.
