MARIA D. QUINTANILLA EDINBURG - Maria D. Quintanilla, 91, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Arbor View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edinburg. Born in Donna, Mrs. Quintanilla had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She will be dearly missed every single day by all her loving family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Flavio Quintanilla; three sons, Samuel Quintanilla, Diego Quintanilla, and Amador Quintanilla. Maria is survived by two sons, Gilberto Quintanilla and Willie (Eva) Quintanilla; five daughters, Oralia Quintanilla, Elida (Jose) Benavidez, Yolanda (Margarito) Infante, Berta (Gabriel) Beltran, Noelia (Joe) Sanchez; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, August 25, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Pallbearers will be: Jerry Quintanilla, Joe Benavidez, Alex Benavidez, Artie Infante, Aaron Michael Quintanilla, and Brian Bradley Beltran. Honorary pallbearers will be: Patricia Flores, Jacey Franco, Ramon Infante, Clinton Beltran, Derreck Beltran, Jeorge Ruiz, and Nicole Quintanilla. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
