OFELIA QUINTANILLA PHARR- Ofelia Quintanilla, 83, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at her residence in Pharr. Born in Mexico, Mrs. Quintanilla had lived in Pharr most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Quintanilla Mrs. Quintanilla is survived by four children, Carlos (Bertha) Quintanilla, Criselda Quintanilla, both of Mexico, Roberto (Maria De La Luz) Quintanilla, Crimilda (Joel) Coronado, both of Pharr; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Elvira Lopez, of Mexico, Everardo Zamora, of Pharr, Maria Elecena Zamora, of San Antonio, Texas, Maria Celestia Pequeno, of Houston, Texas, and Homero Zamora, of Utah. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, November 20, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
