BEATRIZ S. “BEA” QUINTERO ALAMO - Beatriz S. “Bea” Quintero, 82, died Monday, September 2, 2013, at her residence in Alamo. Born December 12, 1930 in Lexington, Texas, she lived in Pharr and Weslaco most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Quintero; three children, Raul Quintero, Pablo Quintero and Jose Luis Quintero. “Bea” is survived by three children, Maria Luisa (Jesse) Lamas of Weslaco, Ermelinda (Baldemar) Romero of Alamo, Ramiro Quintero of Weslaco; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 4, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013, at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will be follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
