ALAMO - Mary A. Quintero, 84, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 7, 2017, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Alamo, she lived there all of her life and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church.
Mrs. Quintero is survived by her husband, Guadalupe Quintero of Alamo; three daughters and their husbands, Linda & Charles Roybal of New Mexico, Teresa & Steven Bonds of Pflugerville, TX, Alicia & Jesus Ramirez of San Juan; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Amada Avalos; her brothers, Guadalupe Avalos and Joseph Kirwin; and sister, Carmen Trevino.
The family would like to express deep gratitude for the loving care given to Mary by Maria Antonia Villarreal and Nereyda Reyna.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, July 10, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
