Carlota "Katy" Ramirez, 56, entered eternal rest Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Katy was a lifelong resident of San Juan and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Demetrio and Natalia Ramirez; and a brother, Jose Demetrio Ramirez.
Katy is survived by ten siblings, Maria Estela (Mario Muniz) Ramirez, Jose Luis Ramirez, Anna Berta (Ernesto) Jimenez, Rogelio (Virginia) Ramirez, Alejandro Ramirez, Gilberto Ramirez, Isidro Ramirez, Belinda (Celestino Perez) Ramirez, Eduardo Ramirez, Vidal Ramirez; 12 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, November 4, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
