CELIA GARZA RAMIREZ LA GLORIA - Celia Garza Ramirez, 86, died Thursday, December 20, 2012, at LifeCare Hospital in McAllen. She was born in Hebbronville and had lived in La Gloria all of her life. Her most precious times were times spent with her family. Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her husband, Efrain Ramirez Jr., of La Gloria; two daughters, Dolly (Bobby) Carrillo, Sally (Larry) Hernandez, both of Pharr; seven grandchildren, Pamela Alvarez, Jackie Alvarez, Bobby Carrillo Jr., Cassie Carrillo, Michael Hernandez, Mark Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez; a great-grandchild, Ayden James Calvillo; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 21, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church in Rio Grande City. Interment will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Hernandez, Mark Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez, David Calvillo, Oscar Garza and Freddy Garza. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Carrillo Jr. and Israel Garza. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
