ALAMO - Emma G. Ramirez, 79, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at San Juan Nursing Home.
Born in Alamo, Mrs. Ramirez had lived there all of her life and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Santos Ramirez; her parents, Francisco and Clara Garza; and a brother, Rene Garza.
Mrs. Ramirez is survived by a daughter, Rosie (Rogelio) Balli of Alamo; a grandson, Rene Rivera of Alamo; a great-granddaughter, Roxanne Rivera of Pharr; an aunt, Sophia C. Flores of Edinburg; and numerous cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, November 13, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
