IGNACIA “NANCY” A. RAMIREZ
McALLEN — Ignacia “Nancy” A. Ramirez, 66, died Friday, January 22, 2016, at Amara Hospice Facility in Edinburg, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in San Antonio, she had lived in McAllen most of her life and was a member of Iglesia Bautista Jerusalen in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nazaria L. Ramirez.
Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her husband, Ruben Ramirez of McAllen; two daughters, Luisa (Jaime) Solis of Pharr, Laura Ramirez of San Antonio; four grandchildren, Ashley Denise (Jesse) Martinez, Jaime Solis Jr., Klarissa Solis, Kayla Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Martinez, Alexa Martinez, Jordayn Martinez; and a brother, Frank (Kay) Stewart of Tyler, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, January 25, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
