JOHN RAMIREZ SAN JUAN – John Ramirez, 53, died, Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at his residence in San Juan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Ramirez; and a sister, Margaret Garza. John is survived by his wife, Gloria Ramirez of San Juan; a son, JJ (Annie) Ramirez of San Antonio; a daughter, Cassandra Ramirez of San Juan; a granddaughter, Luxie Ramirez of San Antonio; his father, Andres Ramirez of McAllen; and 9 siblings. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, July 24, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
