JUAN JOSE RAMIREZ MISSION - Juan Jose Ramirez, 71, died Friday, October 18, 2013, at his residence in Mission. Born in Cotulla, Tx, Mr. Ramirez had lived in Mission most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melecio and Manuela Ramirez. Juan is survived by two children, Rodolfo Ramirez, Sr. of Cotulla, TX, Rebecca Ramirez Garcia of Mission; eight grandchildren, Randy Ramirez, Rodolfo Ramirez, Jr. , Ryan Ramirez, Erica Raquel Garcia, Edelmiro Garcia, Jr., Esteban E. Garcia, Victoria Ramirez, Christiana Ramirez; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Rene Ramirez of Cotulla, TX; and his former spouse, Julia T. Ramirez of Seguin, TX. Visitation will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., with a 5 p.m. rosary today, October 20, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place Monday, October 21, 2013, at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
