San Juan- Ramiro Gonzalez, 84, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at DHR Health Hospice in Edinburg.

He is preceded in death by his son, Fermin (Norma) Limon.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Maria Elfida Gonzalez; 10 children, Alma Delia Gonzalez, Ramiro (Diana) Gonzalez, Liliana Gonzalez, Miriam Yadira (Jose T.) Gamboa, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Claudia Edith (Roberto) Gutierrez, Santa Monica (Marco) Reyna, Paulino Gonzalez, Jessica Maria (Rodriguez) Sanchez, Rosa Maria (Oscar) Leal; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. Celebration of Life Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
