LUISA RAMON
ALAMO - Luisa Ramon, 85, died Thursday, October 26, 2017, at her residence in Alamo.
Born in Alamo, she was formerly of Houston and had lived in Alamo since 1989. Luisa enjoyed spending time outdoors with her husband while he worked on the yard or barbecued and she loved to cook and bake for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Ramon; two brothers, Humberto Garza, Rufino Garza; and three sisters, Delia Acuna, Consuelo Garza and Jesusa Garza.
Mrs. Ramon is survived by her two sons, Joe (Debra) Ramon of Summerville, TX, Roger Lee (Amy) Ramon of Cypress, TX; a daughter, Chris (Rick) Gonzales of Alamo; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Estefana Castillo of Edinburg and Lucia Alanis of Alamo.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Friday, October 27, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
