ALAMO - Rolando Ramon Sr., 64, went home to the Lord Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Mission, Rolando lived in Alamo for 19 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leandro and Manuela Ramon.
Rolando is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Cruz Ramon; three children, Rolando (Ana) Ramon Jr., Alyssa Adriana (Oscar) Coria, Christian Rolando (Marliese) Ramon; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and six siblings, Julia Sabala, Leandro Ramon Jr., Rogelio Ramon, Reynaldo Ramon, Ricardo Ramon, and Rebecca Ramon.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, August 9, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
