GUADALUPE RAMOS
EDINBURG - Guadalupe Ramos, 72, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at McAllen Medical Center.
Born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico he had lived in Edinburg most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Esteban and Maria Isabel Ramos; two brothers; and two sisters.
Mr. Ramos is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Petra Diaz Ramos; two children, Maricruz (Lucano) Escamilla, Mireya (Estanislao) Saavedra, all of Edinburg; four grandchildren, Irma J. (Oscar) Cantu, Laura A. Escamilla, Lucano (Virginia) Escamilla, Jr., Analynn Saavedra, all of Edinburg; and one great-grandchild, Matthew L. Escamilla.
A Rosary was held Thursday, November 3, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., today November 4, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
