SAN JUAN - Fernanda Aimee "Amy" Ramirez, 17, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at her residence in San Juan.

She was a student at Premier High School in Pharr.

Amy is survived by her mother, Monica L. (Alberto) Marroquin of San Juan; her father, Florencio Cruz Ramirez, III of McAllen; three sisters, Sasha Monique Ramirez, Lesley O. Ramirez, Faith Andrea Marroquin, all of San Juan; maternal grandparents, Andres and Julia Salinas of San Juan; paternal grandparents, Florencio Jr. and Frances Ramirez of McAllen; and a nephew, Jose Guadalupe Alvarez, III.

A prayer service was held Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 am, today, December 16, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Iinterment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
