EDINBURG – Raul Cantu Jr., 35, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in Alamo, TX. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arnulfo Chapa; paternal grandfather, Conrado Cantu; two uncles, Arnulfo Chapa Jr. and Rudy Chapa. 

Mr. Cantu is survived by his son, Raul Julian Cantu; parents, Raul and Rosemary Cantu; three sisters, Elizabeth Cantu, Lilliana Cantu, Alondra Cantu; maternal grandmother, Rosa Chapa; paternal grandmother, Noelia Cantu; four nephews; and three nieces. 

Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
