MARIA DEL REFUGIO "Cuquita" MANCHA PHARR – Maria Del Refugio "Cuquita" Mancha, 96 died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at LifeCare Hospital in McAllen. Born in McAllen, Mrs. Mancha had lived in Pharr all of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Mancha Sr.; a daughter, Maria Del Carmen Mancha; a son, Guadalupe Mancha Jr.; parents, Gaspar and Nazaria Cano; two brothers, Miguel Cano and Amadeo Cano; two sisters, Marina Serna and Alicia Tamez; and son-in-law, Marcos Jaime. Mrs. Mancha is survived by nine children, Irma Barrientes, Juana Maria (Elias) Olmeda, Rogelio (Diana) Mancha, Santos (Richard) Levandoski, all of Pharr, Servando (Yolanda) Mancha, Isabel Jaime, both of San Juan, Oscar (Josefina) Mancha, of McAllen, Anna Maria (Lucio) Solis, of Edinburg, Armando (Rosario) Mancha, of Alamo; 24 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maria Garza, of McAllen; daughter-in-law, Eloisa Mancha of McAllen. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, February 14, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
