FRANCISCA CANO REGALADO PHARR - Francisca Cano Regalado, 95, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at McAllen Medical Center. Born at Jalpa De Canova Guanajuato, Mexico, Mrs. Regalado had lived in Pharr most of her life, and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Not a day will we forget you. In our hearts you’ll always be near. As we loved you, so we will miss you. We shared many happy days together, and some sad ones, too. But the saddest day of all was the day we lost you. “We love you, madrecita”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Regalado; her parents, Romana and Geronimo Cano. Mrs. Regalado is survived by three daughters Ramona (Rene) Echavarria, San Juanita (Arturo) Rocha, both of San Juan, Maria Luisa (Jerry) Rendon, of Edinburg; five sons, Lucio (Diamantina) Regalado, Jesus (Alicia) Regalado, both of Pharr, Esteban (Juana) Regalado, of McAllen, Miguel (Rebecca) Regalado, Jr., of San Juan, Rogelio (Judy) Regalado, of La Porte, Indiana; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, November 29, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
