Angelita Perez Rendon

EDINBURG – Angelita Perez Rendon, 90, died Friday July 21, 2017, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born and raised in Falfurrias, she met the love of her life and then moved to Edinburg. She was a woman of great faith and a prayer warrior for all of her family. She was a kind, giving soul who sacrificed everything for the ones she loved. Angelita was an angel on earth whose spirit will live on amongst all those who love her.
She is preceded by her husband, Eugenio Rendon; her parents, Teodoro and Natividad Perez; two brothers, Vicente Perez, Santos Perez; and a sister, Julia Rodriguez.
Mrs. Rendon is survived by six children, Lupita Dennett, Esther Rendon, both of Edinburg, Adan (Trina) Rendon of Fay, OK, Tina Rendon of Edinburg, Mary Ann (Tony) Rivera of Mansfield, TX, Thelma (Rudy) Garcia of McAllen; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eva Pena of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017, at Abundant Grace Community Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
