NARCISO RENDON
ALAMO - Narciso Rendon, 63, died Monday, December 17, 2018, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
He was a life-long resident of Alamo and a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. At age 16 he began working on trucks and went on to work as a truck driver. Narciso will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Virginia Rendon; a brother, Rene Rendon; and a sister, Maria Rodriguez.
Mr. Rendon is survived by his wife of 36 years, Juanita Rendon of Alamo; three children, Laura Lee (Antonio) Hernandez of Alamo, Lillian (Manuel James) Garza of Edinburg, Lizandra Rendon of Alamo; two grandchildren, Camila Lee Hernandez and Manuel James Garza, Jr.; four sisters, Margot (Cesar) Campos of Donna, Elisa Crawford of Wichita Falls, Lupita Rendon of Donna, and Frances Rendon of Pflugerville.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, December 20, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2018, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
