McALLEN - Olin Russell Renner, 83, was called home Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg, TX.
Olin was born October 15, 1937, in Pleasant Hill, OH. Olin married the love of his life June 3, 1961. He was a long time member of the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club and Silver King Tractor Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Russell Renner and Sophia Marie Trost Renner; a brother, Charles Ivan Renner; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Renner and Claudia Renner.
Mr. Renner is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn A. Denhardt Renner; two sons, Ronald Russell (Missy) Renner of Ludlow Falls, OH, Frank Scott Renner of Potsdam, OH; four grandchildren, Alexandra Marie, Russell James, Elizabeth Nicole, and Ashley Nicole; his brothers, Leon Renner of McAllen, TX, Harry Emil (Glenna) Renner, Noel (Cynda) Renner, both of Pleasant Hill, OH; a sister-in-law, Ruby Renner of Pleasant Hill, OH; two brothers-in-law, Charles (Lynda) Denhardt, Rochester, NY, and Kirk Rafter, Hedgesville, WV; and many nephews and nieces.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg, TX.
Family will plan a Celebration of Life in Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made in his memory to the Amara Hospice, 505 West Owassa Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539.
