Guadalupe Renteria

GUADALUPE RENTERIA EDINBURG - Guadalupe Renteria, 65, died, Saturday, November 30, 2013, at McAllen Medical Center. Mr. Renteria was born in Alamo and lived in Edinburg all of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilberto and Ramona Renteria; a sister,Herminia Martinez; and a sister-in-law, Eva Renteria. Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Celia Renteria; three children, Aurora Renteria (Darrell) White of Indianapolis, Guadalupe (Letty Cano) Renteria, Jr. of Edinburg, Arturo (Janie Olivarez) Renteria of Pharr; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Olivia ( Rodolfo) Gonzalez of Edinburg, Roberto (Simona) Renteria of San Juan, Enedelia (Enrique) Padron of San Juan, Gilberto Renteria, Ricardo Renteria, Rene (Rosa) Renteria, all of Edinburg, Graciela Renteria of Houston; a brother-in-law, Sotero Martinez of Penitas. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 5, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be take place at 2 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
