EDINBURG - Antonio Reyes, 62, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Raymondville, Mr. Reyes had lived in Edinburg most of his life and was employed by Lacks Furniture for ten years.
Mr. Reyes is survived by his wife, Gisela Solis, of Edinburg; six children, Noe Reyes, of Edinburg, Rosalinda Reyes, Jose Antonio Reyes, both of Harlingen, Antonio Reyes, Reynaldo Reyes, Elias Reyes, all of San Juan; four stepchildren, Patricia Arevalo, Ana Hernandez, Fernando Arevalo Jr., all of Edinburg, Juan Hernandez, of San Juan; numerous grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Manuel Reyes, of Chicago, Illinois; and two sisters, Consuelo Del Real, of California and Anita Reyes, of Weslaco.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 14, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Immaculate Conception in Lopezville. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
