SAN JUANA P. REYES
SAN JUAN – San Juana P. Reyes, 98, died Saturday, October 14, 2017, at her residence in San Juan.
Born in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, and formerly of Reynosa, Mrs. Reyes had lived in San Juan for 47 years and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Reyes Hernandez; three siblings, Maria Perez Zuniga, Maria De Jesus Perez Zuniga, Pablo Perez Zuniga; and two sons in law, Ramon Vega Galvan and Gregorio Garcia Hernandez.
San Juana is survived by five daughters, Aurora Pena Vega of Morelos, Coahuila, Maria Consuelo Pena Garcia of Alton, Matilde (Horacio) Contreras of Alamo, Elena Reyes of San Juan, Maria Teresa Reyes of Pharr; 23 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rosalio Perez Zuniga of Monterrey.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 17, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
