SAN CARLOS - Yolanda Reyes, 66, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Edcouch, Yolanda had lived in San Carlos most of her life.
Mrs. Reyes is preceded in death by her husband, Albino M. Reyes; parents, Gilberto and Elida Rendon.
She is survived by four children, Ruth Reyes (husband, Joe Davila) of San Carlos, Ruby La Mar Reyes (husband, Juan De Leon) of Edinburg, Albino (Melissa) Reyes, Jr, Rita Reyes (husband, Isidro Escobar), both of San Carlos; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ruben Rendon of Cedar Park, TX., Martin Rendon of Weslaco, Rene Rendon of Alvin, TX.; sister, Lydia Garcia of Weslaco; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, April 24, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Honorary pallbearer will be, Albino Reyes, Jr. Pallbearers will be Richard Sanchez, Jr., Juan Lamas, III, Jonathan Reyes, Justin Salmeron, Rigo Balderas, and Mark A. Balderas.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
