JOSE C. REYNA EDINBURG - Jose C. Reyna, 82, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg surrounded by family and friends. Born on July 8, 1933 in La Ceja Doctor Coz, Mexico, Mr. Reyna had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Guadalupe Reyna; a sister; and two brothers. Jose is survived by his wife, Bertha Reyna of Edinburg; four children, Candelario (Lydia) Rodriguez, Rodolfo (Dina) Reyna, both of Edinburg, Leticia (Enrique) Mancera, Araceli Reyna (Jose Perez), both of Elgin, IL; 14 grandchildren, Roel, Israel, Pedro, Joseph, Roddy, Ismael, Analyssa, Enrique Jr., Noemi, Vicente, Mark, Christian, Ashley, Melissa; a great-grandchild, Madisyn; two brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, July 31, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
